We are really excited to announce a brand new competition in partnership with The Wild Heart Animal Sanctuary.
This competition is to help support Wildheart's efforts to bring Benji and Balu, two European Brown Bears from Azerbaijan, to the Isle of Wight for a better life. They were likely separated from their mother and taken from the wild as cubs, and were discovered trapped in cages outside a restaurant where they served as entertainment.
The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary are currently building a brand-new habitat for them, which will be complete with everything Benji and Balu need to be happy and comfortable.
This competition with Cherry Godfrey's Isle of Wight office and the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary is all about learning more about Balu and Benji and raising awareness of their epic journey. Colour in your bear and cut it out to bring it to life – we are looking forward to seeing your creations!
Children of all ages are welcome to take part. Schools around the Island will be invited to participate, but if your child is homeschooled they can still get involved - simply contact Cherry Godfrey on 01983 303344 to be sent a pack!
To enter our competition, and for your chance to win some cool prizes, take a photo of your coloured in bear and send it to marketing@cherrygodfrey.com by the 20th December. We're so excited to see them all!

Terms and Conditions
Introduction
By participating in this competition, you are agreeing to the following competition terms and conditions. The competition is being run in collaboration with Cherry Godfrey and the Wildheart Trust.
Eligibility to Enter
This competition is open to all entrants who enter the Bear Colouring Competition.
By entering this competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you.
There is only one entry per person for this competition.
The Prize
Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, and may include:
A membership, day pass, and animal experience (please note that the animal experience is only for children over age 8). All prizes are valid for one year from the date of issue.
The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.
We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.
The Wildheart Trust and Cherry Godfrey’s decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Winner Announcement
Once the winners have been chosen, we will announce the winners via our social media.
Cherry Godfrey and the Wildheart Trust will ask the winners to contact them, and will not contact the winners via social media.
If the winner does not respond within 14 days of the second call, they forfeit their right to the prize, and The Wildheart Trust and Cherry Godfrey reserve the right to select and notify a new winner.
Delivery of the Prize
The winner will allow 14 days for the prize to be delivered, otherwise, alternative collection or delivery arrangements can be made through mutual agreement.
Data Protection and Publicity
You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used byCherry Godfrey and The Wildheart Trust for the purposes of administering the competition and for other purposes as specified in both of our Privacy Policies.
The winner’s first name and country of residence will be announced onboth Cherry Godfrey's and The Wildheart Trust’s social media channels.
Limitation of Liability
The Wildheart Trust and Cherry Godfrey accept no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.
General
The Wildheart Trust and Cherry Godfrey reserve the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions.
The competition is open for entries from 24th September 2024 and closes at midnight on 20th December 2024. The winner will be announced on social media on 6th January 2024.
No late entries will be accepted.
