In addition, the World Health Organisation noted a 25% increase – globally – in anxiety and depression during the pandemic. E-bikes (also known as EPACs [electrically power-assisted cycles] and EAPCs [electrically-assisted pedal cycles]) have also become increasingly popular, with the value of the e-bike market in Europe alone projected to grow up to 16 per cent year-on-year until 2027.
