Hi Lee, thank you for taking the time to speak with us and congratulations on your promotion to Senior Lending Executive. What are you most excited about for your next role in Cherry Godfrey?
I’m most excited about what we can achieve for the Isle of Wight branch. The Cherry Godfrey team have given me confidence that my efforts have been recognized and valued and gives me extra determination to continue the growth of the Isle of Wight branch to challenge (and overtake) the already established branches.
You’re going to achieve amazing things! What do you love most about working at Cherry Godfrey?
Cherry Godfrey promote a supportive and inclusive working environment, where employees are treated like a part of the extended family. Since joining in August 2021, I have been provided with opportunities for personal and professional growth and for this I am extremely thankful.
What do you think makes someone a great Lending Representative?
A good lending representative possesses skills that enable them to build strong and successful relationships with clients. These skills include excellent communication skills, empathy and understanding of each client’s financial needs and requirements, and also having a proactive and customer-oriented approach which builds trust and nurtures relationships to build the Cherry Godfrey brand.
Well said! Lee, what are the daily habits help you succeed?
We hold a daily, morning meeting in which I set out a prioritised workload helping me plan the day ahead and maintain a handle on the whole team’s workload.
And, finally, what do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
As a dad of a five-year-old and a two-year-old, I don’t get too much time to myself outside of work! But spending time with my boys is what makes me happiest.
